Privacy Policy

PBDrills ("the App") is an iOS app that helps players practice pickleball through guided drills and personalized coaching. This policy explains what data is — and isn't — handled by the App.

What we do not collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit personal information about you. There are no user accounts. We do not run analytics. We do not share or sell data — we don't have any.

What stays on your device

The following is stored locally on your iPhone using standard iOS storage and never leaves the device:

  • The name and skill rating you enter during onboarding
  • Your drill completion history and streak
  • Self-recorded form videos (10-second clips you create)
  • App preferences and settings

AI Coach feature

When you use the AI Coach Chat to generate a custom session, the text of your prompt — along with your skill rating and selected goal — is sent to our backend service. The backend forwards the request to Anthropic's Claude API and returns the response. We do not store prompts. We do not associate them with identifying information about you.

Push notifications

If you opt in, the App schedules local push notifications on your device for drill reminders. These never travel through any server. Decline, and none are scheduled.

Third-party video playback

Drill videos are embedded YouTube clips. When you play one, YouTube may collect data per its own privacy policy. We do not control or have access to that data.
